About Rebecca

Rebecca’s Story

Rebecca began her study of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at a young age when a series of ailments turned her towards alternative health pathways. After working as a remedial massage therapist Rebecca was exposed to Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal medicine in a clinical setting and saw how effective they were for a variety of conditions.

After completing a health science degree in TCM through the University of Technology, Sydney, she completed further studies through the People’s Provincial Hospital in Chengdu, China.

Rebecca is passionate about improving health outcomes for her patients and strongly believes in integrating functional medicine with Chinese Medicine in order to achieve the best results.

Rebecca opened South Hobart Acupuncture in 2020 in South Hobart after many years of working in multi-modality clinics in inner-city Sydney. Although no longer in South Hobart, the clinic is now just up the road in leafy Lenah Valley.
