We’re looking for a motivated new or early-career acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner to join the team at South Hobart Acupuncture — a busy, purpose-built clinic in the heart of Hobart that has built its reputation on one thing: thorough Chinese medicine care with a twist of practical magic.

This is not a fill-in-the-gaps role. We want someone who is genuinely passionate about building a thriving practice, who cares deeply about their patients and who is ready to roll up their sleeves, learn fast, and grow into a confident, busy clinician.

Who we are

South Hobart Acupuncture is the clinic Hobart women come to when they’re done being fobbed off. We treat the whole person — acupuncture, Chinese herbs, pathology interpretation, supplements, nervous system work, lifestyle support. Whatever a patient needs, we have a tool for it. We are not woo. We are not a quick-fix clinic. We take the time, we make a plan, and we walk alongside our patients until the change is real.

The role

• 2–4 shifts per week (7am–1pm or 1pm–7pm)
• Running two rooms in a fast-paced, well-supported environment
• Providing verbal and written treatment plans to every patient
• Maintaining clinical records in Cliniko in line with AHPRA guidelines
• Contributing to clinic culture, social media, networking, being present
• Mentoring sessions, case reviews, and structured professional development

You are

• Degree-qualified and AHPRA-registered with current insurances
• A life-long learner, someone who is committed to furthering your skillset and knowledge
• Passionate about women’s health and fertility. Completion of The Fertile Life Method by Kirsten Wolfe (or a genuine plan to complete it) is essential
• Someone who wants to build something, not just fill a roster
• A team player who welcomes feedback and shows up for their colleagues
• Committed to providing thorough, written treatment plans to every new patient, every single time
